The Alberta Fire Chiefs Association hosts its 72nd Annual Conference, AGM and Trade Show on May 26-29 at Westerner Park and The Cambridge Red Deer Hotel & Conference Centre.

The AFTOA endeavours to help connect, develop, and support fire training officers and instructors so they may best provide training for their organization and its members.
To support Alberta’s municipal, provincial and federal fire service training officers and instructors by communicating consistent educational information across the province to promote required standards for fire and rescue service delivery, and enhance the safety of firefighters and the communities served.

In a world of ever changing standards and regulations, this organization provides fire departments with the most current, up-to-date course information and training requirements. The AFTOA will help develop, and support the work of those leaders and organizations in order that they may best provide training for members and affiliated Associations.
